Yoga offers us a chance to pause, to step back momentarily from doing; to find some time for ourselves where we can be.
For me, yoga is about connection. Connection not only within our communities, but also to ourselves. When we check in with our bodies, notice what we feel, and allow this to guide our practice, we reconnect in deeply with ourselves.
I am passionate about creating and holding space for you, and helping you to feel more at ease in your body. My classes will guide you to connect with and listen to your body and breath, to help you feel more grounded, and to cultivate a greater sense of peace and relaxation.
Increased flexibility and strength may be an added bonus of regular yoga, but they are certainly not requirements to be able to practice. In all of my classes I offer modifications and different options so that you can choose what suits your body best. However, if you have any injuries or other concerns you are invited to contact me before starting your practice.
